All classes are taught by Iakowi:he'ne Oakes, Akwesasne Mohawk Nation. Experience Art & Design from a Mohawk Perspective.
This 5 week Series will comprise of personal creativity and technical design. We will initiate wood burning, painting, sewing and beadwork into our projects.
*There will be tentative makeup dates available for students who cannot make a class.

-Cradle-Board included in the registration fee.
-All tools and materials will be provided and included the fee.
You can purchase the Series in full and save, or you can pay the upfront fee ($__) for CradleBoard and materials and purchase one class at a time.
This Series has a maximum of 6 students. To save a seat you must either pay the full Workshop Series cost or a downpayment of $__ for the Cradleboard and materials fee. The Class Pass of $65.00 will be due at the beginning of each class.
Must be an Intermediate beader or have an equivalent of 2 Contemporary Native American Workshops with Mohawk Coterie programming to be eligible.
TECHNIQUES:
Wood-Burning & Painting
Work with basic wood burning tools to handcraft your own personal design. And paint with Oil or Acrylic.
Sewing & Pattern Making
Basic Flat Pattern Making techniques, hand stitching and machine stitch integration.
BeadWork
Learn multiple techniques, beadwork applications and professional finish assemblage.
